Appearance:

For most of her life Rozalin believed she was a Princess, and her looks certainly are that of one. The blond haired demon wears what could only be described as a ballgown. Black satin makes up most of the dress, the skirt falling to the floor, a pair of ruffles, one black and the other red around the bottom of the dress, leaving an opening at the front for the white under-layer to peek out. Two pairs of drapes, one red, the other gold, deck the dress out, with a huge red bow at the back and a smaller golden one at the front. The tight-fitting bodice is sleeveless and very low cut at the back, gold trim lines the edge of the top, around to the back meeting into a bow. Down the front is a strip of red, with another gold bow at the mid-line of her ample chest.

She wears black stockings beneath the dress, with a pair of gold high heels. Armlet's cover her arms, and a pair of red and gold rings on either hand. Despite the poofy dress, she still appears quite thin, her complexion is very fair, almost pale, from spending most of her life indoors. She has no lack of demon features, her eyes are red, ears long and pointy and she bears a pair of pointy eye-teeth. Her bat-like wings are black and large, unusually folding back around her shoulders to the front. She wears her hair up in a spiky up-do, with a golden holder with red gems. Blue earrings, a large gold necklace with matching blue gems, and a similar styled broach hangs beneath the golden bow on the front of her dress. The final touch is a pair of red bows, the back one slightly larger, that she wears about her neck.

Personality:

At her very base, Rozalin's personality is that of a spoiled princess. Having spent almost her entire life closed away in a huge mansion, she's been given everything she could ever want, with a mansion filled with servants to attend to her.

Even though she'd never even seen her father, she still appreciated him for everything he'd done for her, and felt she loved him, a more unusual trait amongst demons.

She can be rather selfish, extremely stubborn, and has no qualms about ordering anyone around. She's used to getting her way and settles for little but the best. She's used to having the best, and settling for anything less is disagreeable. She isn't completely unreasonable, however. She tends to come across as being very no-nonsense. Despite these negatives, she also can be caring. She has a bigger heart than many demons, disagreeing with child kidnapping, feeling bad for the treatment the prinnies receive, and feeling family is something that should be treasured. She would not deny demons feel love. This is mostly due to being closed away from the world all her life. She was not exposed to normal demon behavior.

She's quite intelligent, but much of it is book smarts, common knowledge something of a mystery to her. Rozalin is very ignorant of the general ways of life, having spent so long closed away. There's much she doesn't know about the outside world, although she's come a long way ever since she was summoned, but still there's much she still doesn't know or understand.

Most demons throw good manners to the wind, but Rozalin strives to always uphold good etiquette and manners. Of course, they're known to slip from time to time.

Through her travels with Adell she has come to learn more about the value of friendship, and Adell's vast determination she came to somewhat admire, and yet it confuses her why he so willingly promises to protect her. While she would deny it, of course, the battle maniac has slowly grown on her, and she while she would not understand why she would do it, she wouldn't wish anything to happen to him nor his family.

It should be noted that she also has another "personality" so to speak inside her. Being the reincarnation of a powerful Overlord, those memories and feelings still reside deep inside her. Twice they have broken out. It's a soul who feels they are a being of solitude. She has been betrayed by all she trusts. Everyone is an enemy.

Abilities/Weaponry:

Like all demons, Rozalin holds a great deal of power, although she holds more than most being the reincarnation of a very powerful Overlord.

Her main weapon of choice is a gun, and she has a wide variety of attacks she can use with it. She also has a couple special moves of her own, including one that she pulls a machine gun out from who-knows-where lol. Her most powerful move is Rose Liberation (also known as Dark Liberation when in Zenon!Rozalin mode.) which is powerful and blasty.

She also does have some magic ability, like most demons do. She has a couple ice spells at her disposal.

Rozalin isn't all common sense smart, but she is quite book smart. She has a lot of knowledge about things people generally don't. She was taught how to be a princess, with things considered proper and high-class. She uses little to know slang, and has quite a large vocabulary.

Weaknesses:

Rozalin is pretty much a backline fighter, either with gun or magic. She is a very weak physical fighter, and it wouldn't be hard to overpower her by force if they could subdue her power.

Her new found family is a weakness, in that she is willing to sacrifice herself for them. She was willing at the end to try to convince the one she thought was Overlord Zenon to spare them all if she went back to her mansion.

Now the seal is broken, and her past life has no seal to keep it locked away. Even before the events when the events of arriving at Zenon's castle she was worried from what happened when Laharl weakened her seal. She even asked Adell to kill her if she did something.

Because of her ignorance of the outside world, despite having learned a lot, there's still much she doesn't know. She could quite easily be tricked or fooled due to her ignorance.

History:

All was peaceful once on a little backwater world called Veldime, till an Overlord named Zenon appeared and cast a curse over all who lived there. Humans started becoming demons and world, a Netherworld. All except one. A single human still existed. Except, this isn't about him. This is about Zenon's daughter.

Rozalin was brought up enclosed in a manor, never seeing the outside world at all, with hundreds of servants to attend to her every whim. Then at the age of 18, she suddenly found herself no longer in her mansion. She was accidentally summoned by the human, Adell, and his demon family. They were trying to summon Overlord Zenon, whom Adell desired to defeat to save his family. Unfortunately, Adell and Rozalin were now bound by contract till the conditions were met. It was hard for her to understand when Adell promised he'd protect her and return her safely to her father.

She decided she must also protect her family, however, and vowed to try to kill Adell. Their first day out to find Zenon (who Rozalin really has no idea where he is) she randomly points out a blond haired demon, they happen by. Poor Akutare is beaten up by Adell. Oops. Mistakes happen though, right?

Second day out they find one of Zenon's palace's. It's been destroyed, however. They find a survivor, a frog named Tink, who was a transformed childhood friend of Rozalin's who worked for her father. He tells them he thinks it was Demon Lord Etna who destroyed the palace and transformed him.

The third day Tink comes up with a plan to lead Adell to a swamp that is said to have a monsters that can reach other 100. One attacks and Tink tries to encourage Rozalin to run, but she has second thoughts about letting Adell die in such a meaningless way, and how his brother and sister would react. She just doesn't understand Adell, but decides she wishes to attempt to figure it out. Thus she stays put and helps him to defeat the monster, who might've just been a baby.

The next day they manage to bump into none-other than Etna. Wondering if killing her would return Tink to his actual form, they approach her. Turns out apparently she wasn't responsible for the destruction of the palace (or Tink's transformation). Snap though, here's Zenon's daughter! She wants Rozalin to lead her to Zenon so she can kill him and become an Overlord, but Rozalin refuses, and Adell steps in, protecting Roz from Etna. Etna decides to beat them around a bit to show off her power, leaving the group on their knees. Etna's ready to strike, and Rozalin can't keep silent. She admits she can't tell Etna where her father is, since she's never met him.

So, what is this? 5th day? \o_O/ Rozalin is confused that Adell isn't really angry with her. They start to talk, but get interrupted. Taro and Hanako have been kidnapped!!!! They instantly realize it's Akutare so go after him. Akutare kidnapped them to lure Adell and Rozalin so he could rescue Rozalin and gain new fame for his great come back. Except whoops, Taro falls into the river when they arrive to rescue him! Oops! Not as planned! They head off to rescue Taro, and meanwhile Akutare feels bad, so.. he takes a cab to try to catch up to Taro too. ...lol. And, ohgodthisisgettinglong. Uh. Taro is rescued...basically.

Then next day they find out about a tournament and the prize is a chance to meet Overlord Zenon! :O They aren't the only ones in the tournament though. They meet a very nice ninja demon by the name of Yukimaru, on some kind of mission she can't tell you about. They also bump into Etna. Uh oh. She wants to get the prinnies to win the tournament so she can get a shot at Overlord Zenon and she asks you to throw a fight. They don't, however, which pisses Etna off, and she intends to use you to get to him. Uh okay Etna. One night, Rozalin is monologing to herself when Yukimaru? suddenly attacks her. What the? She runs off, and they are confused. Next day they go to fight her in the tournament and she doesn't know what you're talking about. Uh. You defeat her and she's ready to sepuku herself, but they convince her to join them instead to complete her mission. \o/

They fight the Prism Rangers, some old guy obsessed with geosymbols (who gives them a special Remedy!) and Akutare who was actually the host. They meet one of Zenon's subordinate's (a second time, she helped them out once before) and she reveals a second Yukimaru. :O Yukimaru seems to know who it is, but they take off.

So, they've won the tournament so head to meet Zenon! He reveals the whole tournament was to lure out Etna to kill her, but great! Adell is there too. Two birds with one stone! Yukimaru reveals her mission is to take out Zenon too, because he pretty much wiped out the Snow Clan 15 years ago. He's surprised to see Rozalin there. That was not as planned. He orders all to be killed and Rozalin to be escorted back to the mansion and have her memories erased. D: Etna has great timing though, and appears in time to unintentionally saving your ass. They escape with the help of the female subordinate of Zenon's again.

Etna then finds them to let them know she totally killed Overlord Zenon... and nothing happened. Her title didn't change, what gives? They decide it must have been a fake. Thoroughly annoyed, Etna takes off to go junk out on sweets.

So, what to do now? Adell's mom suggests another summoning. She can't summon specifically Overlord Zenon again, as that takes years of prep, but she could try for the strongest demon in the world. Which should bring them Zenon, right? Except they need something for the summoning... a fingernail of a Demon Lord. Time to go find Etna!

She makes you fight the prinnies for them, who of course loses, and hands over some fingernails. Except she totally duped them and gave them fake press-on nails. Unknowingly they hand the nails over to Adell's mom who starts the summoning and summons... Etna. That didn't go as planned. Not to mention now Etna is PISSSSSSSED, cause the summoning botched and she dropped to level 1. She vows she's going to hang around till she gets ALL her levels back.

First off, they have to go chase down Etna's prinnies. With their boss a pathetic lvl 1, they run away, no longer fearing her wrath. Cornering them they bring out their big brother to help! Actually, their big brother is Yukimaru's big brother, Fubaki, who can like henge cause he's a ninja~ He was the fake Yukimaru back at the coliseum. He's after Rozalin. Ack! Yukimaru tries to convince him otherwise, but he goes to attack Rozalin and BAM. Supraiz Overlord Zenon, who attacks Fubaki. The gang WTF since they thought he was a fake, but here he is alive, and Fubaki tries to fight him, and it obviously doesn't go well, cause they're soon back at Adell's home, and Fubaki is in a bad state. Damn.

Rozalin decides to use the Remedy Old Man Geo gave them to see if it'll help Fubaki. Which confuses Yukimaru as Fubaki had tried to kill her. Roz simply tells Yukimaru not to worry, as they might possibly be from the same clan. (Yukimaru felt Rozalin might be from the snow clan when they first met)

Fubaki's condition stabilized, but he's still in a bad shape, so they decide to head to the Shinra Tower to talk to Old Man Geo and see if they can get more herbs to help Fubaki. Not to mention, Etna wonders if they might help to restore her lost levels.

However they arrive to find out the herbs have been stolen. They find the last person expected -- Laharl. His castle is a mess, all the prinnies are gone, vassals have left him, he's come to Veldime to find Etna and drag her home since she totally didn't ask permission. Oh yeah, he's also starving and ate the herbs. Oh Laharl... They try to beat him, but that doesn't go well, of course. However, the Overlord notices a seal on Rozalin... and tries to break it. =A=;;; Rozalin goes all powerful-crazy and sends Laharl fleeing with his proverbial tail between his legs. She then seems to turn on the others, but Adell manages to slap her outta it, but she passes out and the seal, uh, reseals itself.

Well, they get back to find Fubaki is gone. Seems he started feeling better and went off to have another shot at Zenon. They figure they better get going and catch up to him. Handily Hanako and Taro noted down the location of Zenon's castle from the news (lol), so they're able to head off to his castle. First they are met by Zenon's masked subordinates who beg to be killed. orz Before they die they explain how Zenon is feeding off human conscience and how he was able to revive himself when Etna killed him. Bastard.

After being helped out by Axel, they head into the castle and find Fubaki. He's not doing too well though. They leave him to rest as they go to face Zenon. He's not doing so great too, having been fighting off over Overlords who are trying to defeat him, but seems he still has enough cause after a fight with him, he's still not dead. He begins to drain power from the humans, saying he'll spare them all if Rozalin turns herself over to him. Rozy figures she has no choice, but then something inside her speaks up, offering her power. She wants to help her friends, so she gives into it and thus...

Spoiler time~ Rozalin goes super powerful again and it's revealed she is actually Overlord Zenon. She once defeated the fake Zenon, and he sought revenge. When he discovered she'd had herself reincarnated to escape the her violent existance, he kidnapped her from the Snow Clan 15 years ago (destroying almost the entire clan) and raised her as his own daughter, gaining satisfaction that she saw him as someone superior. Blahblah story... Zenon!Rozalin's not interested. He tries to attack her, but doesn't even ~scratch~ her. She lets off a massive attack, and dark magic overtakes everything, and Fake!Zenon is so dead.. and Rozy finds herself in Paixao... still overwhelmed by Zenon! :D ... :D ... :D? Yes, I know I'm evil. :|b
